Updater Celebrates National Intern Day!
Here at Updater, we welcome any opportunity we have to celebrate our interns! National Intern Day gives us yet another reason to express our appreciation for them.
This year for National Intern Day, we showed our appreciation for our interns with a surprise taco lunch, cookie cake, confetti bombs, an Instagram takeover, and special messages from the team detailing why we love our interns. Here’s a closer look at how we celebrated.
Updater interns are an integral part of our team and make a significant impact on our company every single day. We believe that internships pave the road to success in job searching and we are happy to be a company that provides an exceptional work (and life) experience to our intern classes each and every semester. Some of our Updater interns have gone on to be hired at companies like GrubHub, Meetup, CNN, and of course, Updater!
We see the impressive growth our interns make within just the few short months they are with us. With a sense of professionalism, our interns leave (or stay!) ready to take on anything thrown their way in future internships or jobs. From crafting and presenting their very own intern projects to participating in our quarterly team offsites, Updater interns work hard and deserve to be recognized.
We’ve always made it a point to recognize and celebrate our interns long before the start of National Intern Day. At the end of each Fall, Spring, and Summer semester, we host our very own Intern Appreciation Night! We plan an awesome night packed with a ton of fun and surprises to recognize all of the great work they’ve done while with us. Whether it’s a Broadway show or a gelato-making class, Intern Appreciation Night is the perfect way for us to say, “Thank you!”
