Do I need to take a driving test?

Nope. Save your real driving skills for the road. You will, however, have to pass a vision exam.

You’ll need to visit the Washington Department of Driver Services in person. Sorry to say, but services are not available online.

Is there a fee?

We don’t fault you for asking. Registration fees depend on several factors including the weight of your vehicle, where you live, and the types of license plates you want. Is an emission test required?
