How Updater works
When your community approves a future resident’s rental application, the information syncs directly into Updater. At that point, your future resident will receive an invitation to set up items for their move and complete your community’s unique move-in tasks within Updater.
Corporate and onsite teams both have access to an Updater dashboard to configure each community. Once configured, future residents will only see the providers you designate, including preferred renter insurance providers, TV/internet providers, and more.
As future residents complete move-in tasks, onsite teams will be able to track progress, review, and approve or deny tasks. For instance, if a resident submits a renters insurance policy that does not meet the requirements of your community, you can reject the task and send an alert to the resident through Updater.
Updater features two-way integrations with your core property management software to push and pull information seamlessly between your core software and Updater. For example, the integration with your payment portal allows your team to designate and collect move-in costs well ahead of move-in day.
