Introducing SSO and Auth0: your solutions for “login fatigue”

We are excited to announce the simultaneous release of Single Sign-On (SSO) and Auth0 passwordless logins for our partners. These new features offer a seamless, secure, and efficient way to access all Updater products without remembering passwords.
Here’s the critical information:
Your login process will change on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Here’s how to log in going forward:
1. Visit your company’s unique Updater login link. The link should look like this: yourcompanyname.updater.com
2. Type in your email and click “Continue.”
3. You’ll receive a 6-digit code in your inbox. Copy and paste it in the field provided.
4. Click “Continue” to log in.
Introducing Auth0
Auth0 is a best-in-class identity platform that adds a layer of user authentication and authorization to your move-in processes.
Logging in with Auth0 passwordless logins generates a temporary, encrypted security token (delivered by email) for your teams to verify their identity. This feature enhances the security of Updater’s legacy “login with password” system.

Introducing Single Sign-On (SSO)
Single sign-on (SSO) is a critical part of almost every organization’s strategy for user management and authentication. Accessing company applications and tools through your business platform (Google, Okta, Azure, etc.) has become the de facto standard.
We are excited to announce that SSO is now available. SSO allows your tech and security administrators to manage access to your Updater solutions using a single set of credentials, reducing security risks created by weak or repeated passwords. Your teams can move securely between Updater solutions and other cloud services without providing credentials each time.
