Our Key Takeaways from RE8Expo
We headed down to Fredericksburg, VA yesterday to hear our friend Ben Kinney deliver a fantastic presentation on “8 Steps to a Million Dollar Business” at RE8Expo. We had the opportunity to hear from one of the most respected real estate businessmen on just how agents can build out their network and set tangible, aggressive goals to bolster business. In case you weren’t there, we’ve compiled a short list of our key takeaways from Kinney’s talk.
Kinney to real estate professionals: “Take this advice”
1) “Who do you know that I should know?” Open a conversation with that one-liner, and you’ll be well on your way toward building out your network and your business, says Kinney. “It’s all in the networking” is a saying for a reason.
2) Brush up on a little light reading with “The Millionaire Real Estate Agent” by Gary Keller, Founder of Keller Williams. It’s a fantastic evaluation of concrete strategies real estate professionals can implement to strengthen their business — all from someone who would know a thing or two about real estate prowess.
3) Be Accountable! Setting business goals and hold yourself to them… if you can’t, ask a friend, mentor or coach to hold you accountable to them.
