Breezeline offers internet protocol TV (IPTV), which is when your television service gets delivered over the internet instead of through a cable or satellite. While the method of delivery is different, many of Breezeline TV’s features are similar to what you get from a traditional cable TV provider.

For example, you have access to many of the most popular networks, including ABC, Fox, CNN, HBO, CNBC, MTV, BET, Lifetime, and more. You also get convenient features, such as the ability to record shows and watch them later and the ability to stream content on any device or computer. This article will outline who Breezeline TV is for, key considerations to keep in mind, what others think about Breezeline, and how their service stacks up against other TV providers.

Who is Breezeline TV for?

Breezeline TV is for anyone who wants the freedom of being able to watch their favorite content online, anywhere they are, without needing a TV or a satellite or cable connection. This makes it a good fit for people who commute to work or travel a lot. Breezeline TV is also optimal for families that may not want a TV in their living room, preferring to interact with each other in that space by spending time face-to-face instead of “face-to-screen.”

It’s also a good solution for people who prefer one or a few specific channels, due to its different package options. Breezeline TV comes with Variety+, Family+, Premium, and International packages. For example, if your family prefers content in another language, you have the option of choosing an international option. This way, your plan isn’t filled with channels you may never want to watch.

Or suppose you only want family-friendly content. In that case, you may want to go for the Family+ package, and check out shows and movies that are easy on the eyes and ears, such as Hallmark Drama, National Geographic, or the Magnolia Network.

It’s also important to note that Breezeline TV is not a standalone option. You have to get internet service as well, which means it’s best for people that also need internet service. However, if you already have internet and would still like to try Breezeline TV, you can still opt to pay for a package.

Key considerations

Do you need any hardware for Breezeline TiVo?

Yes. You can use a TiVo box from Breezeline, one you already have, or one you purchase yourself.

Does TiVo work on my mobile device while I’m away from home?

No. You cannot access your TiVo device unless you’re at home or wherever the device is located.

Can I watch recorded content on a mobile device while I’m not home? If so, how does that work?

Yes, you can watch the content you’ve recorded using the Breezeline TV Online app. To do this, you have to download the content while connected to your home Wi-Fi network, then store it on your device. Then, you can watch it later on when you’re not at home.

What others say about Breezeline TV

“Breezeline” is a relatively new name for the company that used to go by the name Atlantic Broadband, and because the switch happened only a few months ago, there aren’t many opinions from reviewers about Breezeline.

That being said, WTAJ news in central Pennsylvania, acknowledges Breezeline for its voluntary internet speed upgrade—at no additional cost. They note that the speed boosts will enable customers to work from home, game online, and stream with better performance and reliability.

Atlantic Broadband was praised at the beginning of 2022 by a CNET review, which gave it an “honorable mention” in a list of the best internet service providers (ISPs). The review specifically mentions Atlantic Broadband’s introductory prices, which range between $40 and $80. It’s important to keep in mind that this is not a review of Breezeline, but the entity it was before it changed its name.

How does Breezeline TV compare to other providers?

Breezeline TV stacks up well against other IPTV providers even though some offer more viewing options. For instance, Typhoon Labs offers more than 2,000 channels and another competitor, Xtreme HD IPTV, provides 20,000+ channels.

If you prefer a more condensed list of channel options, on the other hand, Breezeline TV may be a better choice. Also, if you need internet, you can get it with a Breezeline package, while the above providers only give you access to content, and not internet service.
