Movin’ On Up – Updater Quadruples Office Space
The irony is everywhere: the moving app finally gets to move. We’re updating the Updater offices. We could keep going…
For the last four years, we’ve called 1140 Broadway home. Shake Shack, Madison Square Eats, the Flatiron Building and Eataly have all become staples in our lives. We’ve outgrown three different offices spaces, all within the building, but we’re not done yet!
We’re thrilled to announce that Updater is moving from Madison Square Park to Union Square Park this summer. We recently signed a lease for 9,233 square feet at 19 Union Square West, quadrupling our current footprint.
The new space already has amazing elements including plenty of natural sunlight, windows galore and an entire private floor, just for our team. Our buildout will include turning the raw space into a productive and inspiring space, complete with 3 large conference rooms, 6 smaller meeting spaces, and room for 75 employees. With views of one of the prettiest parks in the city, Union Square Park, our space will be perfect for our growing team. With all the moving help we provide daily, we’re thrilled that it’s finally our turn!
