Michele Lerner of The Washington Post writes:
“Rental property management companies have upped their game in offering rooftop decks, coffee bars in the lobby, dog grooming facilities and concierge services to attract renters to their buildings.
Now several property management companies in the D.C. area – including Oculus Realty, Kettler Management, Harbor Group Management Company and Vantage Management – have added “Updater” services for personalized moving services. According to Updater, nearly 100,000 apartment dwellers in the region (nearly 10 percent of all renters in the D.C. area) will receive a moving concierge and moving dashboard to simplify their moving experience, all courtesy of these property management companies.”
